Itinerary

This day-trip to Florence will start with a private limo picking you up at Livorno’s port. You will then arrive to the center of Florence where you will meet your private tour guide. The itinerary will be the following:

• Accademia Gallery, where you will see the stunning David by Michelangelo. Reservations will be made in advance in order to avoid the long line

• The Duomo (the Florence cathedral, visit to the interior), with the famous Dome built by Brunelleschi, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Belltower (from the outside)

• Piazza della Repubblica square

• Piazza della Signoria square, with the Middle Age Palazzo Vecchio building and the statues of the Loggia dei Lanzi

• Brief lunch break

• Ponte Vecchio,  the most ancient bridge of Florence  and one of the most famous in the world

• End of the tour in Florence and heading back to Livorno with a stop in Pisa on the way

• Stop in Pisa to see the leaning Tower and the beautiful Miracoli Square, with the Cathedral and the Baptistery

• Return to the port in Livorno

As an alternative the tour can be done exclusively in Florence (without the stop in Pisa). In this case there will be time to see in Florence also:

• Dante’s neighborood and Piazza San Firenze

• Santa Croce square and the church housing the tomb of Michelangelo

Since the tour is done with private transportation and private guide, all timings will be adjusted based on the time of arrival and departure of the ship. Further customization of the tour is possible in order to accommodate special needs and desires: for instance it is possible to include a visit to the Uffizi Gallery.
