The Borghese Gallery, built in the 17th century by the Cardinal Scipio Borghese, is considered one of the most beautiful museums in Italy. Among the treasures housed within are many astonishing sculptures by Bernini, Canova and other Baroque masters, as well as a rich collection of paintings by artists including Raphael, Tiziano, and Caravaggio. This gallery is truly a must see for all the lovers of art.
After the visit to the masterpieces of the Borghese Gallery, the guide will take you through the magnificent surrounding park of the Villa Borghese and finally reach the Pincio Hill, where a terrace offers a superb view over Rome (and is a great spot for taking beautiful pictures!).
