Itinerary

The tour starts at Basilica San Clemente, An ancient basilica in the centre of Rome. Here you can explore the underground excavations, including an earlier basilica and, deep under the current church, a first century Roman street and house, complete with a Mithraic temple.

From the basilica, the tour moves on to The Colosseum, the famous theatre where gladiators fought to the death. (We provide reservations to allow you to skip the long queues.)

After a walk through the Imperial Forums, the tour finishes on the Capitoline Hill, where you'll see the perfect Renaissance Square, Piazza del Campidoglio, which was designed by Michelangelo.
