Day Trip to Florence

A day trip to take in the highlights of Florence.

Itinerary

For this tour, we recommend going to Florence by train. Your guide will meet you at Florence railway station.

Once you've met your guide, you'll start the tour with a visit to the Accademia Gallery, where you will see Michelangelo's David. (Reservations will be made in advance in order to avoid the long queue.)

You'll then go on to the Cathedral (the Duomo), with the famous Brunelleschi Dome, the Baptistery and the Giotto Bell Tower.

After seeing Piazza Repubblica, it's time for lunch.

The afternoon begains with a walk through Piazza della Signoria, taking a look at the Palazzo Vecchio and the statues in the Loggia and the square itself. Then it's on to Ponte Vecchio, the most ancient and famous bridge of Florence.

Finally the tour will remember some of Florence's famous sons, with a walk through Dante’s neighborood and Piazza San Firenze, and Santa Croce church, which houses the tomb of Michelangelo.
