Architecture & Wine

This special half day walking tour will let you enjoy the art and the beauty of Rome together with a choice of red and white Italian wines.

Itinerary

The Architecture and Wine tour starts at Piazza del Popolo, dominated by the big Egyptian obelisk; just around the corner you will have your first glass of selected wine in a very old and picturesque enoteca. Then we will reach Piazza della Rotonda and the Pantheon, considered to be the best conserved Roman temple. Within walking distance is Piazza Farnese, where you can admire the perfection of the Farnese Palace, designed by—among others—Michelangelo in the 16th century; you can indulge in a glass of wine in the Piazza Farnese, or in the nearby Campo dei Fiori.

Moving on to Piazza Navona and its spectacular Bernini fountain, you will end the "passeggiata romana" in the last wine bar, which will allow you to taste another wine chosen among a huge selection: your guide will leave you here, the perfect place to stop for a light lunch or dinner and to rest.
