| Itineray Originally created as an art school, the Accademia Gallery is located on the south bank of the Grand Canal. The museum hosts a beautiful collection of paintings from Italian artists like Mantegna and Piero Della Francesca and a rich selection of the masters from the Veneto region: Titian, Giorgione, Bellini, Veronese, Canaletto.

| Special: Exhibition "The Vitruvian Man between art and science" From 10 October 2009 to 10 January 2010 the Homo Vitruvianus, one of the most famous images in the world, will be shown at the Accademia Gallery in Venice. Due to its fragility the drawing is usually not on display but now it can be seen more than 7 years after it made the last public appearance.
